The McLaughlin Doty Foundation scholarship was established in 2011 to assist students who need financial assistance in pursuing their educational goals.  The scholarship award is for up to $7500 per school year per recipient and is renewable each year for up 4 years (for a maximum total of $30,000).  The application process opens December 1, 2023, and completed applications are due March 8, 2024.  The amount awarded will vary depending on the applicant’s needs and the type of degree or program the applicant is pursuing.

An applicant must be a senior graduating from one of the following schools:  Tivy High School, Ingram Tom Moore High School, Center Point High School, Harper High School, Hill Country High School, or Our Lady of the Hills High School. Students awarded a scholarship will be expected to attend an accredited program on a full-time basis (this includes a college, university, community college, technical school, trade school, or school for the arts), maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, be an asset to their school and community, maintain at least part-time employment while receiving the scholarship, and submit progress reports to the Foundation twice a year.
